He donated $4,500 to Seminole County Public Schools, which benefitted Casselberry Elementary, Spring Lake Elementary and Pine Crest Elementary. His $4,433 donation to Orange County Public Schools covered the remaining school meal debt throughout the whole county, benefitting more than 250 children.

Metro Orlando is the worst area in Florida for year-over-year job losses in July, according to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.

“I chose to help students in my local community because it has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic,” says Dr. Ram. “This will help many of the parents who have lost their jobs or are struggling to make ends meet during this difficult time.”

Dr. Ram is the chief medical officer at Alluriam, an Orlando-based company that empowers communities to take charge of their health and well-being through an innovative information technology platform and integrated care teams. He is also an internist who treats patients in hospital settings and works with hospital IT departments to streamline physicians’ electronic health record (EHR) experiences and documentation.
