Step Up Charity Gala Supports Covenant House PA

On Saturday, May 13, 2017, we witnessed tremendous support from Philadelphia metro area businesses and community members who came together for the Step Up Charity Gala. This event helped raise critical funds and awareness for the Covenant House Pennsylvania, which, as a whole, is one of the largest providers of services to homeless, runaway and trafficked youth in the world.

More than 100 people and 40 businesses convened at the Bok building in South Philadelphia to support the Covenant House PA’s mission to offer housing and support services to young people in need. Attendees enjoyed a fun masquerade-themed evening filled with music, food, drinks and a silent auction. Guests were also treated to a special performance by the Collingswood, NJ-based, indie-pop trio Hotsy Totsy.

Blu Lotus had a fantastic time hosting the Step Up Charity Gala with Stevie Chris and Bok, as it’s so important to give back to your community. We appreciate everyone involved who helped us make this night a success! For a complete collection of photos from #StepUpPHL, please visit the Step Up Charity Gala on Facebook. A special thanks goes out to photographers Jeff Cohn and Jerry Bennett for capturing the night.
