According to a recent Nielson survey, traditional forms of paid media are more trusted than online ads.
New media platforms, including search, online video, social media, mobile display and online banners, had a trust rating of less than 50 percent. More than half of respondents say they trust traditional advertising platforms such as newspaper, magazine, TV, radio and billboard.
